The Ramada Chicago Hyde Park is located at 4900 South Lake Shore Drive between 47th and Hyde Park Blvd off of Lake Shore Drive. We are just three quarters of a mile from the Museum of Science and Industry, a five minute car ride North to McCormick Place and just two blocks from the Metra Train which will take you on a ten minute train ride to downtown Chicago in Grant Park or a five minute ride to McCormick Place and the conventions being held there.

Were just a mile from the center of the campus of University of Chicago and about four miles from Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) and about 8 miles from the University of Illinois at Chicago. We are also about a twenty minute ride North to Wrigley Field for the Chicago Cubs.

From OHARE
Take I-90 east to I-55 north ? stay to the right and exit Lake Shore Drive south. Exit Lake Shore Drive at Hyde Park and take a quick right at the end of the exit. Go north to front door of Ramada.

From MIDWAY
Take Cicero Avenue north to I-55 north. Exit I-55 at Lake Shore Drive south, go south on Lake Shore Drive to Hyde Park exit. Take a quick right at end of exit and go north to front doors of Ramada.

From DAN RYAN EXPRESSWAY I-94
From I-94 north or south, take local lanes and exit at 51st Street. Take 51st (also called Hyde Park Blvd) east all the way to the end (the entire street turns left). Precede north to front doors of Ramada.

From EISENHOWER EXPRESSWAY I-290
Take I-290 east to Congress Parkway. Continue east to Columbus Drive. Turn right (south) at Columbus and continue south until Columbus Drive merges with Lake Shore Drive south. Continue south on Lake Shore Drive until Hyde Park exit. Take a quick right at end of exit and go north to front doors of Ramada.

From RAMADA TO MCCORMICK PLACE
Take Lake Shore Drive (I-41) north to 31st Street. Exit 31st Street and turn left (west) to 2nd stop light. Make right turn, head north and follow signs to McCormick parking.

From RAMADA TO WATER TOWER
Take Lake Shore Drive north about 10 minutes. Exit at Chicago Avenue, turn left and continue west to Miles Van Der Roh Street. Turn right and precede north 2 blocks to Chestnut Street. Turn left and precede ½ block to parking lot.

To RAMADA FROM MOST POINTS DOWNTOWN
Go east to Lake Shore Drive south, continue south to Hyde Park exit. Take a quick right at end of exit and go north to front doors of Ramada.

From RAMADA TO UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO
Go south to Hyde Park Blvd. Make a right turn and precede west to Woodlawn Street. Make the left at Woodlawn and continue south to the University of Chicago Campus (55th to 63rd).

From RAMADA TO UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO HOSPITAL
Go south to Hyde Park Blvd. Make a right turn and precede west to Cottage Grove. Make the left at Cottage Grove and continue south to 57th Street.
